Important requirements
If any future load is feed intended for ruminants OR

If any future load is feed of which the destination / target animal is yet unknown

--> Vehicles, containers which have been previously used for the transport of milk replacers containing fishmeal intended for unweaned farmed animals of the ruminant species, may be subsequently used for the transport of feed intended for ruminants provided that they are cleaned beforehand in order to avoid cross-contamination, in accordance with a documented procedure which has been given prior authorisation by the competent authority

If the next load(s) is (are) feed intended for non-ruminant farmed animals, including aquaculture animals, poultry and porcine animals

--> If IDTF no. 10155 concerns a dry product then the minimum cleaning regime is A.

--> If IDTF no. 10155 concerns a moist/liquid product then the minimum cleaning regime is B.

Description

Fishmeal: Processed animal protein derived from aquatic animals except sea mammals, including farmed aquatic invertebrates, including those covered by Article 3(1)(e) of Council Directive 2006/88/EC, and starfish of the species Asterias rubens which are harvested in a mollusc production area;

‘Milk replacer’ means compound feed administered in dry form or after dilution in a given quantity of liquid for feeding young animals as a complement to, or substitute for, post-colostral milk or for feeding young animals such as calves, lambs or kids intended for slaughter;
