If any future load is feed intended for ruminants OR

If any future load is feed of which the destination / target animal is yet unknown

--> Vehicles or containers which have been previously used for the transport of blood products derived from non-ruminants and compound feed containing these products may be subsequently used for the transport of feed intended for ruminants provided that they are cleaned beforehand in order to avoid cross-contamination, in accordance with a documented procedure which has been given prior authorisation by the competent authority.

--> If IDTF no. 10042 concerns a dry product then the minimum cleaning regime is A.

--> If IDTF no. 10042 concerns a moist/liquid product then the minimum cleaning regime is B.

Dedicated transport. French regulation (Code Rural, Article R226-1) requires that certain products derived from animal by-products authorized for animal feed in the applicable European regulation be transported in vehicles or containers reserved for this purpose.

There is no release procedure documented by the competent authority.
